Building on the success of their awesome range of additives and boosters, Shogun have done it again with the Shogun Samurai Coco Multi Pack. It contains just about everything you will need to begin your coco adventure or if you're already a coco pro then this multi pack will work just as well in experienced hands.
This particular multi pack is for growing in coco and should cover an entire grow from start to finish depending on your plant numbers and growing area, typically a 1.2 meter sqaure tent containing 3-4 plants. The Shogun Samurai 1 Litre A and B contains 2 exclusive additives that sets it totally apart from the rest of the coco base nutrients on the market called SmartZen and AquaZen.
SmartZen is a blend of sterols, lignan's, tannin, lipids and hydrocarbons. Together, they give a huge increase in photosynthesis and lower any heat stress. These ingredients are not found in any other base nutrient, yet they have been shown to increase yields by 6-8%. SmartZen also helps plants cope when temperatures go out of the ordinary too.
Shogun Samurai coco nutrient also contains AquaZen. A special ingredient that ensures your pots are wetted evenly and thoroughly, to the optimum level for best root development. In some cases, your feed water can flow straight through the coco fiber in your pot without wetting it properly. AquaZen improves the penetration and wetting ability of the feed water.
Encourages the growth of new roots and greatly improves success rates for your cuttings and seedlings. It also works to improve overall root health, which ensures that nutrients are up taken by the plant as efficiently and effectively as possible.
It works by strengthening the walls of plant cells, which in turn produces thicker stems and stronger branches that can support more weight. This leads to greener leaves and an all-round improvement in plant vigor.
Can be used with your base fertilizer from the late vegetative stage through the flowering stage. It contains nitrogen (2.6%), calcium (3.2%), magnesium (1.2%) and a trace amount of iron (0.1%). Magnesium is a vital component of chlorophyll, the green pigment that is essential to the process of photosynthesis.
Without a healthy supply of magnesium, the process of photosynthesis will slow down to a crawl and the energy produced by your lighting system will be rendered much less effective. Calcium helps to increase the thickness of cell walls and improves the transportation of nutrients between different areas of the plant, making the nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in your base feed that much more effective.
This in turn promotes an all-round increase in vitality.
Unlike many other PK boosters on the market, Shogun PK Warrior has a ratio of 9/18. Whereas most PK boosters are used for relatively short periods of time around three weeks before harvest, Shogun PK Warrior’s 9/18 ratio can be used effectively from week 4 of the flowering phase right up until the flush.
Shogun PK Warrior stimulates essential oil production to the point where there’s a huge visible increase in density. We highly recommend supplementing with Shogun Silicon and Calmag to increase the structural strength of stems and branches accordingly. Otherwise, they may well struggle to support the weight!
Shogun Sumo Active Boost took 3 years to develop. One of the ingredients that makes it stand out from the crowd is something called triacontanol at the ideal concentration of 0.05%. Triacontanol is a naturally occurring phytohormone that is found in most plant matter.
Blended with other great natural ingredients like fulvic acid, humates, cytokinins, fucoidan, betaine, amino acids, vitamins and polysaccharides. It can be used as a foliage spray or as a root application as a primary flowering aid. It triggers an explosive upsurge in your plants' metabolism, stimulating essential oil production and adding up to 10% to the final weight!
Shogun Dragon Force is a complete feed that provides plants with everything they need for the very last feeding stages. When using Shogun Dragon Force, you can even stop using your base nutrient and PK additive altogether as Shogun Dragon Force has it covered! It contains highly available forms of phosphorus (9.5%), potassium (6.9%), magnesium (2.6%) and sulphur (2.5%).
Phosphorus and potassium are primary macro nutrients that are essential to the development of healthy fruits and flowers. Magnesium is a vital component of chlorophyll, the green pigment that powers photosynthesis. The Shogun Dragon Force also contains sulfur, another secondary macro nutrient often overlooked. Sulfur is an element that forms a key component of many amino acids – the building blocks of life. Sulfur also assists with the uptake of other nutrients, like phosphorus.
Fill your hydroponic system reservoir or watering container with water. Then add equal amounts of Shogun Samurai Coco Nutrient Part A and B to the tank to achieve the required strength and mix well. Shogun recommend a dosage of 2 to 4 ml/Litre of both part A and part B.
As with all nutrients, boosters and additives, never mix them together in their concentrated form (i.e.straight out of the bottle). Always add each nutrient, booster or additive to your reservoir or feed water in turn. Give the solution a good stir to mix it in before adding the next one.
Next, add any additives and boosters you wish to use depending on your growing cycle and mix well. Adjust the pH of the solution to the required level using pH up or down as necessary. We suggest an optimum pH of 5.8 for best results. pH meters, such as the Bluelab Ph Pen, can help you set your pH level accurately.
