A 4 layer multi laminated ducting. Containing a high tensile steel wire helix that ensures strength and durability.
The black PVC outer is totally plant safe and a strong vapour/light barrier. Ensuring extra air tightness over standard alloy ducting while still being very flexible.
Due to the 4 layers (when fully extended), the ducting folds it shape with a seamless void. Delivering low pressure drop and no particulate clogging and low noise when in use.
This ducting has a clear layer on the inside and a black lightproof layer on the outside. The clear layer works effectively to minimise the noise of the foil and it is tear resistant.
For the best results, keep your ducting as straight as possible, this will eliminate noise and not reduce your fan speed, each bend in your ducting can reduce your fan speed by 20% and the air hits the bends, making noise.
The COMBI DUCT product is a combination of an ALU DUCT inner core with an encapsulated high tensile steel wire helix and covered with a mechanical resistant PVC foil. COMBIDUCT is suitable for the Heating and Ventilation Market and industrial purposes, such as for the exhaust of welding fumes.
Because of the aluminium interior the temperature range is up to 140° C and the outside layer gives a mechanical strong product. Made in 10 meters lengths and packed in a box.
