Air temperature and humidity influence Vapour Pressure Deficit (VPD), which determines the air's "drying" capacity. To maximize plant growth, humidity must align with the air temperature and growth stage. Until now, optimizing VPD in grow spaces has been challenging. The Intelligent Humidity Controller resolves this by directly regulating a G.A.S SonicAir Humidifier Pro, ensuring ideal humidity levels at any temperature.

How the G.A.S Intelligent Humidity Controller Works

The Intelligent Humidity/VPD Controller utilizes a 3-in-1 probe to detect temperature, humidity, and light levels within a grow space. It then manages a G.A.S SonicAir Pro Humidifier to adjust humidity to a user-defined level or automatically regulate Vapour Pressure Deficit (VPD) according to the growth stage and day/night cycle. With this model, the humidifier powers the controller through the connection cable, eliminating the need for a separate mains connection.

The controller offers four primary operation modes:

1. Relative Humidity 24 Hours: Maintains humidity at the user-set level continuously.

2. Relative Humidity Day/Relative Humidity Night: Allows separate humidity settings for day and night.

3. VPD 24 Hours: Automatically adjusts humidity to achieve the ideal VPD for the current temperature and growth stage.

3. VPD Day/Relative Humidity at Night: Regulates VPD during the day and switches to controlling relative humidity at night.

Mode 4 is recommended as it prioritizes VPD regulation during the day and relative humidity control at night, aligning with plant needs.

Note: While the G.A.S Humidity Controller effectively increases humidity, it doesn't lower humidity levels. However, pairing it with an adjustable dehumidifier alongside a humidifier pro can address high humidity levels when necessary.
