The FloGro 500 Dripper Systems dripper ring waters the media at the set times. If there is any excess, it drains back into the reservoir and drips over the media on the next feed.
It’s almost impossible to over water a Flo Gro because the dripper ring releases solution slowly and the pebbles offer excellent drainage. The speed of the draining through the pebbles re oxygenates the roots at every feed ensuring long term root health

For use with a free draining, inert media. If you wish to use soil or coco, then a Wilma or Ebb and Flood system is recommended.
When plants first go into the system feed 1-3 times a day. As plants grow, increase the number of feeds up to a maximum of 6x per day or use a timer to set shorter but more frequent feeds to maximise oxygenation and nutrient uptake.
Plants under lights will take up water at a greater rate than they take up nutrient. Over time the EC of the solution will rise. Top up the tank with half strength nutrient solution, check EC and add extra nutrient if required. Then adjust pH level and perform a complete solution change every 2-3 weeks.
Purchasing a timer is recommended for the flo gro, so longer and more frequent feeds can be delivered to plants as they mature.
