More flexibility and control is desirable. The newest generation EC-fans and the EC-controllers from Can-Fan don’t have the restrictions AC fans have. EC-fans are not limited by amperage. The number of fans you can control is theoretically unlimited. That is a huge step forward, provided that you use EC-fans like the Q-Max EC and the Max-Fan Pro Series EC. But what if you use AC-fans? Well, Can-Fan has developed an ingenious solution for that.
The Max-Fan Pro Series AC and Q-Max AC come with a build in 2 or 3 speed switch. You might also want the be able to fully control the fan. This is now possible! We have added extra hardware to the Max-Fan Pro series AC and Q-Max AC. This added hardware allows the LCD EC Fan controller to communicate directly to the Max Fan Pro series AC and Q-Max AC. This way the relatively affordable LCD EC Fan controller controls your AC devices. Now you have full controllability just like with EC-fans; you just hook up all your devices to 1 LCD EC Fan controller! In summary, a relatively small hardware adjustment opens up a whole array of possibilities and prevents unnecessary investments in expensive amperage restricted controllers.
