The 3 inch net pot is a medium size flexible net pot, usually used with aeroponic and hydroponic systems.
In hydroponic systems with roots suspended in nutrient solution, net pots are best.
The Aeroflo, RainForest from GHE or the Amazon are examples of aeroponic systems.
Used with Nutrient Film Systems too. You can fill them with clay pebbles or the small rockwool cubes.
The clay pebbles offers both support and excellent aeration for the plants.
