Each Multi-Duct system has long planting channels above its low-lying reservoir. On the channels are placed rockwool blocks with plants. The roots grow along the channels where they have unrestricted access to oxygen. Pumping nutrient solution into the 'channel' and letting it flow over the roots of the plants.
The plants use whatever they need, and then the excess drains back into the reservoir so the roots can use it again. Refilling of the reservoir takes place every 2-3 weeks. The constant supply of water and nutrition to the roots. Combined with unlimited access to oxygen.
