A typical AC fan controller clips the AC sine wave to control the fan speed. A 50Hz sine wave is required for an AC fan to run, so when it receives a distorted wave, it buzzes.
The result is a highly inefficient fan that will reduce its life expectancy. Unlike other frequency controllers, the Control Freak Frequency Controller precisely alters the wave frequency to control the fan speed, resulting in super smooth fan control. It is much more efficient, there is no buzzing, and the fan will last much longer.
